UK tourism businesses are signing up to offer a fair deal to visitors and operators during 2012 in a ground breaking scheme, implemented by VisitBritain and Visit London.
There is a recognition among leading UK tourism businesses that over-inflated pricing and inappropriate trading practices during the period of time surrounding the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games in 2012 can undermine the great reasons to be in Britain next year, and deter potential visitors both in 2012 and in the long term.
Businesses that sign up to the UK Fair Pricing & Practice Charter will offer pricing that will be fair and reasonable throughout 2012. They will also commit to not artificially inflate pricing levels for goods and services. The ‘Committed to Fair Pricing’ marque identifies their involvement in the scheme; the list below shows local businesses that have already signed up.

Signatories are helping us to reassure visitors that Britain is open for business during Games time and crucially across the whole of 2012.
The Fair Pricing and Practice Charter is just one way in which Britain is getting ready to welcome the world in 2012.
