We aim to add your events as quickly as possible however at busy times they can take up to 5 working days to show on Windsor.gov.uk. You need to make sure your event has a full and inspirational description as well as a quality image to ensure your event is promoted to its full potential.
The information you send through will be checked by RBWM (Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead) before it is added to Windsor.gov.uk. If we feel your event is not ‘tourism’ relevant it will not be added but we may suggest you add the event to our local council website, rbwm.gov.uk.

Who can add an event?
Individuals, venues, businesses, charities, in fact anyone organising an event can submit an event for approval and inclusion in the ‘What’s On’ listings.
What type of events can I add?
Any event that is open to the general public, that takes place within the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and that is ‘tourism’ relevant (ie has broad appeal for visitors to the area as well as people from the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead).
What should I do if I’m not sure if my event is suitable?
Complete the events submission form in full and submit your event. If the event is suitable, the administrator will approve your event and categorise this to appear in the appropriate listings. If it is found to be unsuitable or missing relevant details the administrator may not approve the event. The administrator may also suggest that you add the event to our local council website, rbwm.gov.uk.
How long does it take?
If you have all the relevant details to hand it should take approximately 5 minutes to add an event.
What information do I need to add an event?
To submit an event you need to have the basic information. Field boxes marked with an * must be completed or the event cannot be submitted.
Hovering over the ‘i’ icon next to the field name will reveal additional guidance.
Before you begin please ensure you have all the information below:
Name of event, date, time and location details
description of event
Contact information for the event and the person who is submitting the event (these can be the same)
An image or logo for the event or venue. Must be a jpg, landscape, copyright free, minimum size 700 x 423 pixels, maximum size 1MB.
To be listed, events must:
Occur at a venue or location within the Windsor, Maidenhead and Ascot area.
Be open to the general public.
Have broad appeal for visitors to the area as well as people from the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.
Be submitted by the event organiser or authorised agent
Be specific, finalised and confirmed prior to submission (events with dates to be announced, undetermined locations, etc. cannot be listed)
RBWM reserves the right to edit or decline any event.
Incomplete forms will not be considered.
Events with no image will not be accepted.
Forms submitted in capital letters will be declined.
