Windsor.gov.uk is the official destination website for the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. The site attracts over 1 million users and it is consistently ranked number one on Google for searches for ‘windsor’.
It's a responsive site, adapting to all screen sizes allowing visitors to browse on smart phones and tablets too.
Product database listing
Have your own product page within the accommodation, retail or dining databases of www.windsor.gov.uk. Each page includes descriptive copy, links, images and facility information.
Four packages are available and each level gives greater prominence, more features and exposure to the site audience leading to higher page views. Prices range from £85-£795 per annum depending on type of business and package level.
Advertise on windsor.gov.uk: we offer banner advertising to local businesses that are looking to raise awareness, attract visitors and generate bookings. Prices range from £199 to £299 plus VAT for three months.
Businesses can also pay to banner advertise on our consumer e-newsletters which are sent quarterly to a growing database of recipients who have opted in to receive further information on the local area.
We can offer 3-month featured packages for businesses looking to feature for a few months at a time. This package includes placements within primary website features, guaranteeing enhanced exposure. £399 plus VAT for three months (limited availability).

Press & PR
Our PR campaign began in 1996 and has since reached hundreds of millions of readers/viewers. Press activities are handled on our behalf by Live Tourism based in Cookham, Berkshire.

Royal Windsor Information Centre
The Royal Windsor Information Centre is centrally located in the Windsor Royal Shopping close to Windsor Castle. In 2015, over 85,506 people made an over-the-counter enquiry at the Information Centre. Many more will have walked through the Centre, looked at our advertising and picked up leaflets from our displays.
Opportunities exist for local businesses to display leaflets and advertise within the centre (on the wall and onscreen). The Centre also coordinates Concierge Service with local accommodation providers whereby tickets for various attractions and events can be bought in advance and at special rates for visitors.
