Good Food Guide places new UK restaurant John Campbell at Coworth Park in top 50

15th August 2011

John Campbell at Coworth Park, the fine dining restaurant at Dorchester Collection’s country house hotel and spa near Ascot, has been listed at number 23 in its first year of operation in the annual Good Food Guide 2012 Top 50 UK Restaurants.  The restaurant has been open since September 2010 and offers a choice of three different menus featuring a unique interpretation of locally sourced classic dishes.

The Shire Menu features seasonal ingredients locally grown and freshly harvested within a 70 mile radius, while the a la carte is a tribute to John’s innovative and outstanding cuisine, with dishes such as suckling pig, carrot and kohlrabi and sea bass, coco beans, coconut, lime and octopus. An eight-course Tasting Menu showcases the very best that John has created throughout his career, for example, scallop, ceviche, pak choi and tomato and rabbit, ragu, ricotta gnocchi and fennel and for dessert hay chocolate, lychee and rose

John Campbell at Coworth Park is currently offering the three-course Shire Lunch Menu for £25, available Monday – Saturday for lunch and until the end of November 2011.
