Windsor’s Original Trail Run!

Join us for our Royal Windsor Trail Run in 2025. This event is the original Windsor Trail Run which first took place in 2013.

With over a decade of organising the Windsor Trail Run, the event has become a staple in the trail running calendar attracting a mix of seasoned trail runners and newcomers, creating a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere. Participants from various regions look forward to the challenging yet rewarding experience that the Windsor Trail Run offers with its Half Marathon & 10km Trail Run.

The course passes the historical sites of Windsor, Boveney Lock, Bray, Dorney, Maidenhead and Eton, finishing with Windsor Castle in front of you!

This event is not designed to be a gruelling cross country through deep mud and puddles, but aims to be a fun, friendly and fast trail run along one of England’s most historic courses – read about the course story here. We hope that our onsite facilities, commentary and music provide plenty to keep other halves and little ones entertained, ensuring a day out for all the family while you run.

If you have never visited the Thames Valley or Windsor & Eton, this could be the perfect opportunity.

Entries are subject to a small booking fee.
