This special Exclusive Evening Tour offers a 'behind-the-ropes' experience in the State Apartments.

You will discover the history of the Castle, including how William the Conqueror’s wooden Castle was rebuilt by Edward III as a stone fortress with magnificent apartments, how Charles II set out to rival the Versailles of his cousin Louis XIV, while George IV filled the rooms with outstanding works of art and gave the Castle its famous skyline.

The Christmas tree in St George's Hall©

You will also see the Castle decorated for Christmas, including the magnificent 6 metre (20-foot) high tree in St George's Hall. This year’s Christmas display at Windsor Castle will celebrate the 675th anniversary of the Order of the Garter, the oldest order of chivalry in Britain, which was founded at the Castle in 1348.

The experience lasts around 2.5 hours and includes a glass of English Sparkling Wine, a mince pie and a copy of the official guidebook.

Tickets must be pre-booked. There is limited availability, with a maximum number of 30 places on each tour.

Your ticket is eligible to be converted into a 1-Year Pass.

Please note that St George's Chapel and Queen Mary's Dolls' House are not included in these tours.
