About

The Look Out Discovery Centre is a fun place to visit with all the family, whatever the weather. Inside we have over 90 interactive science-based activities, in six themed zones.  The activities are generally aimed at children from toddler age up to 12 years; however there is something for all ages to enjoy!  Can you really leave your shadow on the wall?  Or play the giant keyboard with your feet?  Come and make a mini animation, fire up a hydrogen rocket, build an unfinished house, launch the hot air balloon or design and create a vertical ball run.

We also have a great gift shop, and a coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating.

The centre is set in Swinley Forest, which has over 1,000 hectares of woodland . Outside we have a fantastic adventure play area, orienteering course, walks and trails and picnic area.

Free re-entry to the centre on the day of your visit.

Check out the website for details of the current live science show, which is on at weekends and Bracknell Forest school holidays, and our “Toddler Days” where we put on extra activities for children up to the age of 5 years.  Open daily from 10am-5pm (except 24-26 December). Just off J3, M3 or J10, M4
