Alone Together by Simon Williams is the second play to make its world premiere in this year’s summer season directed by Sean Mathias.
Driven by the loneliness of a dismal marriage to Colin, Angela finds comfort in a chance meeting with Jonty, a young novelist. Each has secrets to protect and pasts to work through, was it really a chance encounter?
In a world where you can be anyone online, can you really escape reality?
Sean Mathias is one of this country’s foremost directors. His multi-award-winning career includes productions at the Royal National Theatre, The Kennedy Centre, The Mark Taper Forum, Paris, Sydney, and Cape Town, including many productions on Broadway, as well as 3 Summer Seasons as guest Artistic Director of Theatre Royal Windsor.
