Autumn Adventures at Cliveden

About

Children's activities this autumn and Hallowe'en at Cliveden

On Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 October, Cliveden hosts their extremely popular ‘Apple Weekend’ event.

There’ll be apple-themed games, stories and harvest high-jinks held in Cliveden’s private Round Garden, an ancient apple orchard that once supplied the mansion house with produce. The event runs from 11am until 3pm and is free, usual admission charges to the estate apply.

Next up, during October half term, Cliveden’s annual Hallowe’en trail returns. The estate is home to ten species of bats, and it’s time for young explorers to join them. Children will swarm around the gardens, solving spooky challenges along the way, and finish up in the oldest part of the Cliveden estate, the mysterious ‘Bats Lair’. The trail runs from Saturday 20 to Sunday 28 from 10.30am to 2.30pm. This activity costs £3 per child, plus usual admission charges to the estate.
