Come and join the outstanding TAMESIS Chamber Choir for an evening of Christmas Carols at the excellent Wellington College venue. The evening is being organised by the St John Priory Group with the anticipation of creating an annual Christmas Carol service to be part of the social calendar for the Royal County of Berkshire.
During the pandemic St John Ambulance has been fully committed to helping the Government and the NHS by supporting ambulance services, providing support staff into NHS hospitals and most significantly, training 30,000 volunteers to help vaccinate the nation. So far St John has donated in excess of one million hours of support in the fight against Covid-19. This has resulted in a much higher public profile and the launch of an advertising campaign "Ask Me".
All net proceeds from ticket sales will go to support the superb work of St John Ambulance. Please bring your children to enjoy this festive event and any under 12 can come for free.
If you cannot make it you can still donate for this amazing charity by buying as many Donation Tickets as you want!
The Readings will be presented by 4 eminent guests: Sarah Greene (former Blue Peter presenter), Lady Stevenson, Lord Brownlow DL and Sean Taylor DL. Also a St John Ambulance Mobile Treatment Centre will be there on the night.
The Carols and readings start at 6.00pm and will end by 7.00pm. Please join us afterwards for a glass of wine or soft drink and mince pie. There is ample parking on site.
£10 to include a glass of wine and a mince pie. Children under 12 free.
