Have you been naughty or nice this year? Whatever the answer, this glorious gift to you is this hot toddy of a burlesque show! Hundred Watt Club – A Burlesque Christmas Special is at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts on Friday 15 December at 8.30pm. Tickets are £20.
Jam-packed full of festive, glittering showgirls, bawdy comedy, classic vaudeville and awe inspiring circus acts. Always seductive, always sublime and always that little bit ridiculous. Enjoy an evening of vintage inspired, Christmas themed cabaret entertainment. Perfect for a staff night out with a difference, festive party with friends or for helping get that love interest under the mistletoe!
The Hundred Watt Club was established in 2010 and has become one of the longest-running and most highly esteemed burlesque and cabaret shows in the UK. They are based in Surrey and produce theatre shows and club nights, lighting up stages across the country with glittering striptease, circus, drag and comedy performers.
Each act is lovingly handpicked by artist and producer Lena Lenman, meaning that no two shows are the same. Lena is a showgirl, ecdysiast, comedian, model, muse and clown. She is an award-winning, multi-faceted burlesque and vaudeville artist, and an incredibly versatile artiste with a showpiece to suit any occasion.
Hundred Watt Club employ and embrace adult themes, strong language and partial nudity – not for the faint hearted or easily offended! There’s no dress code, but Hundred Watt Club love it when their audiences dress in the vintage finery and red carpet glamour. But if you’re more comfy in jeans and sneakers – wear them!
