Racing at Ascot 2018: King George VI Weekend

About

The King George VI Weekend celebrates the best of the British summer, and is one of Ascot’s most prestigious race meetings outside of the Royal Meeting.

The height of summer style and sophistication

The weekend combines world-class Flat racing with summer style and modern fashions, in a quintessential English garden party setting. The Friday is a stylish way to start the weekend. Leave the office and gather colleagues and clients or picnic on the lawn with family and friends. Enjoy the champagne and cocktails bars and a range of entertainment.

King George VI Weekend | Friday

Enjoy a competitive six-race card, including the John Guest Brown Jack Stakes. This race commemorates the racing legend who won at no less than seven different Royal Meetings. Also on the card is the Carraig Insurance EBF Stallions Valiant Stakes.

King George VI Weekend | Saturday

The King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Stakes (sponsored by QIPCO) is the feature race on Saturday and the European mid-season middle distance championship. Off-track a wonderful array of bars and sublime entertainment are available.
