Racing at Ascot 2019: Spring Family Raceday

About

Our first family raceday of 2019 is free for under 18s and offers a thrilling combination of top class racing and free countryside themed activities for racegoers of all ages. There is no better way to spend Mothering Sunday, with all Mums in the King Edward VII Enclosure offered a free main course in the Horsewalk Restaurant.

Ascot’s final fixture of the 2018-19 Jumps season takes centre stage, with a mix of hurdles and chases for novices right through to veterans.

Children under 12 can also enjoy a free 'nosebag' in the Bandstand Kitchen and Bar when purchased with a adult main meal. Collect five items to enjoy.

Younger children can explore the safe racecourse environment today with free fun attractions that have an educational slant. Central to its ethos is the importance of the countryside in our everyday lives.

Activities include Willow Bank 'build a den', foraging and cooking demos with James Wood, Bird of Prey and Dog Agility displays, ferret racing, clip-clop pony rides, a petting zoo and a Retrained Race Horses Falconry display.

Each of the Lawns will feature a different theme, with racegoers of all ages encouraged to explore. Kids can take part in a 20 things to do before you are 12 experience.
