The man who invented saving the planet and has dedicated his life to lowering carbon emissions and getting a pound note. Simon Day is Dave Angel: Eco Warrior is at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts on Wednesday 14 June at 8pm. Tickets are £20. Suitable for ages 16+ years.

In his beige bomber jacket, trilby hat and shades, Dave Angel is in every way the opposite of what you’d expect from an eco-warrior.
Dave Angel is supported by characters Billy Bleach and Tommy Cockles. Billy Bleach is an interfering pub bore who knows the answer to everything and he can’t resist giving others the benefit of his wisdom. Tommy Cockles is a blazer wearing deadpan entertainer who claims to be a contemporary of Arthur Atkinson. Tommy hardly has a good word to say about Arthur Atkinson and revealed he lost out on several roles to him.
Simon Day is a comedian and actor known for his roles in the sketch show The Fast Show and BBC3 sitcom Grass. He rose to fame as a stand up comic, winning the Time Out new act of the year in 1991 with his music hall character Tommy Cockles. He also appeared as a weekly guest on BBC1’s Paramount City before joining Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer for two tours and two series of Big Night Out.
Simon also has TV credits including Heartbeat, Jonathon Creek and Skins. He also appeared in films including Shakespeare in Love.
