About

Foot-tapping Irish music in Maidenhead

Pat Abernethy (from Belfast) and Dave Marsden (from Dublin) return to their Irish roots for an intimate evening of music and stories. Songs from Ireland is at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts on Saturday 23 March at 8pm. Tickets are £14 (£12 conc).

All the songs reflect the Irish spirit in its many forms - nostalgia, romance, emigration, politics, loss, humour and more. The songs have all been selected because they say something that resonates with Pat and Dave musically and lyrically. Between songs, you will also be regaled with stories from their days in Ireland.

Pat and Dave both have extensive experience of performing on stage and screen. Dave is a highly-respected Musical Director and Pat has even co-written an Irish No 1 hit song, I Believe in Love. They are both originally from Ireland but have been based in London since the 1980s.

Featuring songs from the likes of Paul Brady, Tommy Makem, The Furey Brothers, Van Morrison and Val Doonican.

Join us for an evening of foot-tapping Irish music.
