Spring 'Make a Nature Journal' Workshop

About

A nature journal is a space to record your observations, thoughts and feelings about what you experience in nature. In this guided 2.5 hour workshop SAS founder Ellie Green will teach you how to set up and use a nature journal as a way of learning about nature through creativity.

We'll take a gentle walk through a secluded woodland, treading softly as we soak up the sights, sounds and textures of the Autumn season. There we'll collect foraged items from the forest floor which Ellie will teach us how to record in our journals using really accessible, beginner friendly techniques.

Using a mixture of pencil, inks and watercolour we'll fill our journals with all the colours and textures of the season - learning the names of plants, animals and trees as we go.
