'The little GREAT Exhibition' has brought together all things Victorian to celebrate Queen Victoria's 200th anniversary.
Finally on the 2nd of February learn about this vital mode of Victorian Transport with Rebecca Seear of the historic Windsor Carriages as she take us on a journey of discovery with the last horse drawn Hackney carriage in England. They can trace their coachman and carriages on The Long Walk in Windsor back to 1849 when their horse drawn taxis were permitted sole public vehicular use of The Long Walk under the reign of Queen Victoria. A tradition which continues to the present day with their traditional carriages and pairs of horses. Besides that get dressed up and be photographed in a Victorian carriage.
