We would encourage visitors to take advantage of Windsor's Park and Ride facilities that operate at Legoland Windsor (7 days a week during the park’s open season) and Home Park Car Park (Monday to Friday).
Christmas 2011: Take advantage of the Park and Ride service operating from Centrica. Park up to 4 hours for only £2.50 (2.00 for advantage card holders) and use the regular bus that take you straight into the heart of the town centre.
Please note that traffic is stopped when the guards make their way between the barracks on Sheet Street, along the High Street and into the Castle (daily April to July, alternate dates August to March but never on a Sunday). Traffic wardens and police control traffic on the following approaches to the centre of town: Thames Street, the junction of Victoria Street and Sheet Street and near the junction of Frances Road and Sheet Street. Traffic is usually stopped between 10.45am and 11am (as the guards march to the Castle) and between 11.15am and 11.30am (as they return to the barracks). More information on Guard March Schedule>
Available in Alma Road, Alexandra Gardens, Romney Lock, Victoria Street, Eton Court, Meadow Lane, King Edward VII car park, and Datchet Road (please note, this is not King Edward Court Shopping Centre or King Edward Hospital car park).
FREE PARKING after 4pm every Thursday from the 2 December. Free all day every Sunday in December, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. Free from 4pm on Christmas Eve.
