Set on its own island and 165 acres of stunning Berkshire countryside – on the banks of the River Thames and in the shadow of Windsor Castle – Royal Windsor Racecourse’s vibrant atmosphere makes for a memorable and thrilling experience each and every time and is the place to be on a summer’s evening.
With 26 racing fixtures between January and November 2026, Royal Windsor Racecourse offers a vibrant, social and unique racing experience, stunning settings and first-class hospitality. Add some colour to your 2026 social diary with this year’s exciting racing programme – pairing gripping racing with a host of music and entertainment – including the infamous themed Monday Night Racing fixtures.
Alongside the brilliant flat season, Windsor Racecourse is home to the Berkshire Winter Million, a joint partnership with Ascot Racecourse.
Can’t make it in January for jumps? Jumps racing returns on Saturday 14 November 2026 following the end of the flat season, and promises a great day out for all the winter time.
Unique to Royal Windsor is the ability to arrive in style via river boat from Windsor Town centre, where you can enjoy a drink on the River Thames before stepping off onto the racecourse’s private jetty and enjoying a memorable day or evening at the races.
With extensive grass and hard standing areas that are licensed for entertainment, food and beverages, this venue is large enough to cater for concerts, festivals and charity events during the warm summer months, and spectacular winter wonderlands and firework displays in the winter months. Royal Windsor Racecourse is perfectly placed to be a unique conference and event venue - far enough from the hustle and bustle of central London but close enough to be a viable alternative.
