Thank you for thinking of bringing your coach to the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead. We have a dedicated coach park for the town.
Alma Road Windsor SL4 3HY
Charges apply Monday - Sunday between 9am-9pm (including Bank Holidays). See the latest coach parking charges here.
Payment can be made by cash, credit/debit card or by RingGo. Alternatively you can call on 01753 981000.
Please be aware it is the driver’s responsibility to ensure that the correct location and registration numbers are quoted when parking as if this is not entered correctly it will result in a penalty charge notice. Please ensure payment is made before you leave the car park.
This is a pay and display surface parking area for coaches only with 74 spaces. Entry is allowed up to 6.30pm but exit is allowed at any time.
Windsor Horse Show - the coach park will be open for the duration of this event but we are not able to pre-book spaces or sell tickets solely for this event as we are not able to guarantee the availability of a space.
The car park is regularly patrolled until 9.30pm.
To make an application please complete the online form. Please allow 10 working days to process your application.
These tickets come in the form of a scratch card, which will need to be validated by scratching off the relevant boxes. They may be used for any date - but can only be used once. It is not possible to pre-book a space and the purchase of an advance ticket does not guarantee a space.
Please note: that the application of an advanced purchase ticket does not allow parking until the permit is received by yourself. Refunds cannot be made once paid.
Parking for payment can be made on the day by cash/ card or RingGo - but this will be at the full rate.
Maidenhead, Jenner's Riverside Gardens, Raymead Road, Maidenhead SL6 8NP
Jenner's Riverside car park is a pay and display car park. Coaches £15.00. Coaches must ring 01628 621721 to book a space. Please display ticket to avoid a fixed penalty (please pay car park attendant or in cafe). Car park closes half an hour after sunset.
Cookham/Stanley Spencer Gallery – coaches can drop off outside the gallery.
Q: I have wheelchair users and older visitors on my coach – where can I drop them off?
A: Coach drivers can set down passengers on Windsor High Street at the bus stops outside and opposite Windsor Parish Church. Drop offs and pick ups at these bus stops are strictly for passengers with disabilities only and not to be used as an opportunity to pick up entire coach parties.
Pick ups must be coordinated in order that coaches are not waiting at bus stops for more than 10 minutes as there are a large number of local and tour buses that use these same bus stops and operate to a strict timetable and cannot be held up.
Please be aware that there are temporary closures on the High Street when the Guard March is taking place therefore it is advisable to contact Thames Valley Police’s Windsor town sergeant to make arrangements. Please contact the Travel Trade team for more information.
Q: Where are there disabled toilet facilities?
A: There are a number of public conveniences in the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead and wherever possible disabled facilities are provided, including at Windsor Coach Park. Visit the RBWM public toilets web page for a full list of facilities including those that require a RADAR key.
Q: The lift from Windsor Coach Park into Windsor Royal shopping centre is out of order. What is the alternative?
A: There is a small lift that can take passengers up into Windsor Royal, Yards Shopping, the shopping quarter adjacent to Windsor Royal, Station Shopping. To access the lift, walk your group into Alexandra Gardens and turn right as if heading towards Windsor Castle. On reaching the main road (Goswell Road) cross at the pedestrian lights then turn right and walk along Goswell Road through the railway arch. On your left you will see Patch on the Plaza al fresco restaurant. Walk past the restaurant and the lift is located behind. There is also a flight of stairs, to the right of the lift, leading up into Windsor Royal, Yards Shopping for those who are able to use them. On exiting the lift or stairs you will see steps/a ramp on your left hand side leading up into Windsor Royal, Station Shopping for those heading to Windsor Castle.
Q: Where can I park my coach overnight?
A: Coaches can park overnight in Windsor Coach Park. Entry is permitted until 1830 with exit allowed at any time. Parking charges apply 9.am to 9pm every day. The coach park is regularly patrolled until 9.30pm.
Q: How much will it cost to park my coach for the day?
A: Visit the Windsor Coach Park web page for more information on parking charges. Pre-paid options are available.
Q: Are there food & drink vouchers available to coach drivers?
A: Please contact the attraction(s) you are visiting to find out individual policies for coach driver refreshments.
