If you are a local resident and pay council tax to the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead you can apply for an Advantage Card.
An Advantage Card will allow you access to a variety of discounts at a range of attractions, retailers, restaurants and leisure activities.
Royal Collection Trust has confirmed a change to the offer for Advantage Card holders from 2025, bringing it in line with other businesses in the Borough. From 1 January, a discount of 50% will be available for all Advantage Card holders. In addition, for every adult Advantage Card holder who receives 50% off entry, one child up to the age of 17 will go free on production of the child’s Advantage Card – and any other children will receive a 50% discount on the child’s ticket price, again on production of the child’s card. All Advantage Card tickets will be eligible for conversion into a 1-Year Pass, which then allows free re-entry to the Castle for a year. For 2025, this means that adult card holders can pay £15.50 and visit the Castle as many times as they like throughout the year.
The admission price includes a complimentary multimedia tour which is available in nine languages, as well as free family activities on weekends and during school holidays, subject to availability.
Please note that for discounted Windsor Castle entry, only cards with a photograph of the cardholder and an in-date expiry date will be accepted. If your card does not contain all of these, please apply for a new card. Children must have their own card, which can also be applied for by clicking here. Visit the Royal Collection Trust website for more information on how to visit Windsor Castle using your Advantage Card.
