Submit Event
Got something happening in the Windsor, Eton, Maidenhead or Ascot area? Submit your event to windsor.gov.uk for free and get in front of visitors looking for something to do in the local area. From festivals and food events to live music, theatre, comedy and exhibitions. If it's an event that visitors may like to attend, we’d love to hear from you!
Fill out the form below with as much detail as possible. The more you include, the better your event will show up in search results and be discovered on the VisitWindsor website.
Before You Submit
Key Information
Location: We only accept events taking place within the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead or immediately neighbouring areas.
Acceptance: Not every event submission will be accepted and published. We review each event before publishing and may reject those that fall outside the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead or don't feel like the right fit for a visitor-facing audience. If we're not able to list your event, we'll let you know.
Publishing time: Submissions can take up to two weeks to review so please factor this into your planning.
Partners get priority: VisitWindsor partners are reviewed first and can upload as many events per year as they wish. Non-member submissions may take a little longer to review and are capped at no more than five event uploads per year. Learn more about becoming a member of the VisitWindsor Partnership.
Image Requirements
Events without images will not be accepted. Please include one landscape .jpg image, sized 1220x715 pixels, with a maximum file size of 2MB.
Design tip: The website automatically crops images at different sizes to the above specs. Keep any text or logos away from the edges. If they are essential, keep them in the centre. Get in touch if you need advice after submitting.
Please note: By uploading an image, you confirm that you hold the copyright and/or accept responsibility for any related copyright claims. Images may be used across both the VisitWindsor website and our social channels.
Tips for a Strong Listing
Content and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
- Write at least 500 words of non-duplicate content about your event. More detail helps search engines and AI overviews and helps people decide whether or not to come along.
- Write in the third person: avoid "I", "we" or "us". For example: "LEGO® Festival returns to LEGOLAND® Resorts, with all-new exciting headliners and returning fan favourites in the Music, Creativity and Chill Out play zones…”
- Use sentence case in your title and description. No ALL CAPS please. For example: "King George Weekend at Ascot" not "KING GEORGE WEEKEND AT ASCOT".
- Include the venue name in your event title where relevant to help people find you. For example: "Tour of Archives and Library, St George’s Chapel."
- Contact details: Only include a phone number or email address if you're happy for it to be published.
Booking and Website Links
Where available, we may use affiliate links for "Book Now" buttons. VisitWindsor partners will always have their "Visit Website" link directed to their own website, as submitted.
