We’re proud of Windsor and the Royal Borough and we want every visitor and local resident to be impressed with the cleanliness of our streets and public parks. Keeping a busy town clean is hard work but it’s less of a chore if individuals take responsibility and use bins to get rid of their litter, cigarettes and dog waste. If one isn’t right to hand, please take your litter to the nearest available bin or take it away with you.
You may see specialist officers tackling littering and other environmental offences as part of a crackdown to make the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead a cleaner and safer place to live, work and visit. These officers will issue fixed penalty notices (FPNs) and fine anyone they see committing, or have evidence of committing, an environmental crime. You can read more about RBWM’s FPNs and fines here.
