To celebrate English Tourism Week, we wanted to do something simple and meaningful for our local community.
At Caldesi in Bray, every table dining with us during Residents’ Weekend (Friday 20 to Sunday 22 March 2026) will receive a complimentary signed children’s Italian cookbook (one per table, with proof of RBWM residency).
This is a book not to be missed. It’s all about Italian food through a family lens - introducing children to the Mediterranean diet with practical, healthy advice and recipes designed to be shared around the table. A celebration of how Italian cooking is meant to be enjoyed: simply, seasonally, and together.
The book is written by Giancarlo Caldesi, who was awarded for his work representing Italian food abroad. When receiving the award, the Italian Ambassador recognised Giancarlo and his team not just as restaurateurs, but as educators - helping spread the culture of great Italian cooking beyond Italy.
We’re lucky to be able to share that with our local residents here in Bray - at one of the UK’s most celebrated Italian restaurants.
