Many private tour and coach operators bring coach groups into Windsor. If you are basing yourself in London whilst in the UK, why not visit Windsor and Windsor Castle on an escorted coach tour? Companies offering full-day tours out of London include Evan Evans Tours.
All coaches visiting Windsor should park at our purpose-built coach park at Alma Road. There are 74 spaces available on a first come, first served basis. Reduced price tickets can be bought in advance but it is not possible to pre-book a space and the purchase of an advance ticket does not guarantee a space.
Operated by Reading Buses, the Windsor Express routes – London Line 702 and Flightline 703 – give you some fantastic links across Berkshire and into and from London, perfect for cost-effective commuting and ideal for some really great days out.
Both services connect Windsor (including LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort) with Slough and Langley. London Line 702 continues to London Victoria Coach Station (with stops at Hyde Park Corner, Kensington High Street and Hammersmith). Flightline 703 operates to Heathrow Terminal 5 and Bracknell to the West. North Ascot and Winkfield are served every two hours. Alternate journeys operate fast along the main road.
National Express operates express coaches from London Victoria and Heathrow for onward connections to major UK destinations. For information and ticket purchases visit www.nationalexpress.com. Alternatively, visit the Royal Windsor Information Centre where you can make a booking.
Fast, convenient transfers are available between Heathrow's terminals. Terminals 2 and 3 are a short walk from each other. Terminals 4 and 5 are served by free trains and buses.
Flightline 703 provides a fast and direct link between Bracknell, Windsor and Heathrow Terminal 5.
First Group’s bus service 8 operates a direct service between Heathrow Terminal 5 and Windsor town centre with departures up to every 30 minutes. Journey time is up to 1 hour.
First Group’s bus service 7 operates up to every 10 minutes between Heathrow Terminal 5 and Slough. Change at Slough onto First Group’s bus service 4 for Maidenhead, operating up to every 30 minutes. Total journey time is up to 1 hr 15 minutes.
All services use modern, air conditioned buses with space for luggage. They operate seven days a week, from early until late.
Journeys can be paid for using the First Bus app or by making a contactless payment when boarding the bus.
