Norden Farm Centre for the Arts is your go to for family entertainment this May half term. The line up features children’s shows, Relaxed cinema screenings and Arts and Crafts sessions - there’s plenty to choose from.

Tickets for live shows are £13.50 | £11.50 under 16s | £45 Family and Friends (4 people). Cinema tickets are £9 | £7 under 16s | £28 Family and Friends (4 people).

You Choose is on Tuesday 26 May at 11.30am and 2pm - every show is unique! Based on the brilliant book by Pippa Goodhart and Nick Sharratt, Nonsense Rooms Productions bring you an interactive musical show for all the family. But in this show – you choose what happens!

Using the picture book as inspiration, through a series of games and challenges, each show will feature different characters, locations, costumes and more every time! Age guidance 2 – 7 years.

Get creative at 45 minute Arts and Crafts Sessions on Wednesday 27 May at 10.30am and 1pm. Suitable for ages 3 – 8. Make your own musical instrument in the first session using items you can find around your house. In the second session, you can make your own version of a magical treehouse using cardboard and paper mâché, inspired by The Magic Faraway Tree. All Materials provided.

The Magic Faraway Tree (U) is screening on Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 May at 11.30am and 2pm and Saturday 30 May at 5pm. Based on the beloved books by Enid Blyton, the film follows Polly and Tim and their children Beth, Joe and Fran – a modern family who find themselves forced to relocate to the English countryside. With no Wi-Fi or electricity, the children develop an interest in the great outdoors, where they discover a magical tree with extraordinary residents.

Comedy Club 4 Kids is on Thursday 28 May at 2pm. Cracking entertainment for everyone over six years and under 400 years (no vampires). With top comedians from the circuit doing what they do best, it’s like a normal comedy club, but it’s in the day. May half term’s line up features Alexander Bennett and Robyn Perkins.

Join Mrs H and the Singalong Band on Friday 29 May at 11.30am. They bring their unique and infectious blend of family music to Norden Farm for the first time. Bringing together elements of folk, soul, Latin, dub, comedy and theatre. Bring your voices, silly dances, a sprinkling of mischief and don’t hold back from joining in the fun!

Join Mario, Luigi and a whole host of new friends with Relaxed screenings of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (PG) on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 May at 11.30am. Join them as they venture into space, explore cosmic worlds and tackle new galactic challenges far from the familiar Mushroom Kingdom.

With free parking on site and Café Bar serving adult and children’s menus – plus games and colouring, Norden Farm is the place to be this school holiday!
