Norden Farm Centre for the Arts is the place to keep the family entertained this October half term. With live shows, Relaxed cinema screenings and Halloween fun – there’s plenty to choose from.

Unless otherwise stated, tickets for live shows are £13.50 | £11.50 under 16s | Family and Friends (4 people) £45. Cinema tickets are from £9 | £7 under 16s | Family and Friends (4 people) £28. All family film screenings are Relaxed.

Get your dessert spoons ready for a tale of perseverance, princes, palace balls, glass slippers and um, ice-cream? Cinderella Ice Cream Seller kicks off the week on Tuesday 28 October at 11.30am and 2pm. Age guidance 5+ years. In this new musical for families and children, join Talvi and Caldwell, loyal employees of Cinderella’s, as they share her rags to riches tale.

The Great Baldini - The Family Magic Show comes to the Courtyard Theatre on Wednesday 29 October at 2pm. Age guidance 3+ years. The Great Baldini is a magical legend. Baldwin, the magical dog, is his faithful companion.

Family Magic Show tells the story of their magical partnership, from their first trick to the height of their careers – attempting Houdini’s greatest and deadliest escape. The show is packed with magic, sweets, puppetry, sweets, water, sweets, eggs, sweets and escapology.

WiFi Wars returns with a very spooky version of their live comedy game show - where you play along. Log in with your smartphone or tablet and compete in a range of games, puzzles and quizzes to win the show – and prizes! Hosted by comedian Steve McNeil and aided by Guinness World-Record-Breaking tech whizz, Rob Sedgebeer.

Join in the gaming action on Thursday 30 October at 2pm (age guidance 6+ years) and 7.30pm (age guidance 12+ years). Tickets are £16.50 | £13.50 Under 16s | Family and Friends (4 people) £54.

Relaxed family film screenings are action packed racing adventure Grand Prix of Europe (U) on Thursday 30 October at 11am; and Oscar nominated Irish animation WolfWalkers (PG) on Friday 30 October at 11am and 2pm – the perfect Halloween cinema trip! 

Get into the spirit of spooky season with Halloween Makeup Workshops on Friday 31 October at 11am (ages 8 – 10 years) and 12.30pm (ages 11+ years). Using face paint and make up, create an illusion look that’s perfect for Halloween! Sessions are 60 minutes.

You can get set to go trick or treating at the venue’s Screen Print a Trick or Treat Bag workshop, led by Berkshire Printmakers. Design and screenprint your own bag ready to be filled on Halloween night. Taking place on Friday 31 October between 11am – 4pm.

The opportunities to get creative don’t stop there! Arts and Crafts sessions are taking place on Thursday 30 October and Saturday 1 November 10.30am and 12pm. Sessions are 45 minutes and suitable for ages 4 - 8 years.
