Between July and September 2026 a brilliant new art trail is coming to Windsor and Slough as part of a Wild in Art project created by Thames Hospice.
For 9 weeks, familiar places are being transformed into a free family-friendly public art trail.
The “Trunks across the Thames” art trail will feature 90 individually designed elephants reflecting a vibrant tapestry of community and creativity, weaving together businesses, artists, schools and local groups in powerful partnerships!
Alongside the main herd of 30 elephants, you’ll also discover around 60 mini elephants in community spaces across the route, bringing the trail even closer to where people live, work and gather.
More than just a feast for the eyes, Trunks across the Thames will make a tangible difference. This free, family-friendly trail promises an explosion of colour, creativity and community spirit – an unforgettable experience for the whole community!
