With children’s show You Choose - every show is unique! You can join in the interactive fun at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts on Tuesday 26 May at 11.30am and 2pm. Tickets are £13.50 | £11.50 under 16s | £45 Family and Friends (4 people). Age guidance 2 – 7 years.

You Choose is based on the brilliant book by Pippa Goodhart and Nick Sharratt.  Nonsense Room Productions (Shark in the Park and Hairy Maclary Shows) bring you an interactive musical show for all the family. But in this show – YOU CHOOSE what happens!

The show uses the picture books as inspiration and, through a series of games and challenges, each show will feature different characters, locations, costumes and much more!

Nick Sharratt has illustrated close to 300 books, including the much-loved You Choose, Shark in the Park, Pants series and Tracy Beaker.

Nick has always loved drawing. As a child he was given lots of encouragement by his parents, as well as plenty of art materials and masses of drawing paper. He got a place at St Martin’s School of Art where he developed his illustration skills. Nick then worked for magazines, designed packaging for cakes and Easter eggs wrappers, before drawing illustrations for books. By the mid 1990s, Nick concentrated solely on children’s books.

He has worked with authors including Julia Donaldson, Michael Rosen and Kes Gray. He’s also illustrated Dame Jacqueline Wilson’s phenomenally popular children’s novels. Nick’s been awarded a gold Blue Peter badge too!

Pippa Goodhart is a prize-winning children’s writer and teacher with a passion for creating quality books for children and developing new writers. Throughout her career spanning over 25 years, she’s had more than a hundred books published. In 2015 she was awarded an honorary degree by De Montfort University, becoming a Doctor of Letters.

Pippa writes picture books, early readers and novels for children of primary school age. Her million-selling You Choose is one of her best known picture books.
