About

The Olde Bell is a modern coaching inn dating back to 1135 and is reputed to be one of the oldest coaching-inns in the world!

Set in historic timber-framed buildings we provide eating, drinking, gatherings and lodgings to everyone.

Located only 45 minutes from central London, in East Berkshire, with great access to Henley-on-Thames, Maidenhead and Marlow, The Olde Bell is perfectly located for all your needs.

We’re only 15 minutes away from Windsor Castle, LEGOLAND Windsor and some great attractions for all the family.

We’ve got 48 stunning bedrooms, some with roll-top baths, some with gorgeous views over our gardens and all unique with so much to offer.

For best rates contact The Olde Bell direct.

Our Dining Room and bar is a celebration of fine foods and home comforts where there is something delicious for everyone.  Our bar serves up the finest wines, local beers and real ales and some gins from nearby towns.  There’s loads of board games on hand so you can chill out and enjoy quality time with friends and family in front of the wood fire – pure bliss!

If you’re looking to book a function then our six private rooms seating up to 150 people for weddings, parties and meetings are a must.

We boast two stunning venues.  Our Victorian Manor House named The Malt House houses five rooms and exclusive gardens with its own bar, kitchen and BBQ area.  The Manor House used to be a private residence and oozes hospitality and a lovely warming charm.

On the other side of the car park sits our sensitively restored 16th-century Tudor Barn.  This venue is ideal for large meetings, events and weddings and with its original beams and rafters it is a stunning space.

The kitchen uses home-grown seasonal produce served with a generosity of spirit in both flavour and portions.

With parts of the inn dating back to 1135 and with nooks, crannies and crooked floors The Olde Bell offers traditional hospitality in an environment which is human, warm and social.
