As the countdown to Christmas begins in earnest, join the annual Maidenhead Christmas Light Switch-On on Saturday 27 November, and spend a wonderful evening with your nearest and dearest.

With main roads closed to traffic, the event will see street entertainment, an artisan market with crafts and food stalls and even a children’s funfair.

The eagerly awaited switch-on will commence at 6pm, followed by a spectacular display of fireworks from the roof of the Town Hall.

Admission is free, but warm smiles and plenty of happy cheer are very much welcome!

Those wanting to experience something truly magical are in for a real after-dark experience.

This winter, Windsor Great Park will transform into a dazzling celebration of light and colour. See it come alive with dancing stars, breathtaking installations, and glimmering reflections.

Opening on Thursday 18 November, the trail will take you on a magnificent multi-sensory journey through woodland and water.

Along the path, you’ll be greeted by the scent of mulled wine and hot chocolate, while fire pits will prove the perfect spot for marshmallow toasting.

Off-peak adult tickets start at £21.45 and off-peak tickets for children (aged 3 to 15) cost £13.20.
This event is open until Sunday 9 January, but early booking is advised to avoid disappointment.

This looks absolutely breathtaking, I couldn't be there last year, but this time I have full plan to be there at the time of fireworks as we will be having our annual work trip with and we are planning to have a lot of fun there. Hope it will be beautiful this time as well.

    Dilemmas in Literature
Ethical dilemmas present characters with moral conflicts and force them to make difficult choices. Writers should explore complex ethical issues, examining the consequences of different choices and challenging readers to reflect on their own values and beliefs.
