This half term enjoy some fantastic days out with family and friends in the Windsor, Ascot and Maidenhead area.
Find the perfect place to stay where you can relax and unwind after a day’s sightseeing. Choose a lovely hotel, guest accommodation or self-catering apartment.

Enjoy Windsor and the local area from the water with one of our fabulous boat operators on the River Thames. Take a passenger cruise with onboard commentary; hire a rowing or motor boat and go at your own pace; or charter a skippered boat for a luxury experience.
Look out for special half term activities at many of our attractions.
Drop into Windsor Castle’s Learning Centre this half term and experience what it was like in the Castle during World War II.
This half term, free fun activities are available in the Castle's Pug Yard Learning Centre. This May the activities are all about portraiture and photography. Children can create beautiful frames and collages using old photographs, and also think about what it is like to stand in 'a photographer's shoes'!
When at Pug Yard, pick up a trail all about Royal Photography at Windsor Castle, which children can use as they move around the Castle.
Also, not to be missed if you are at the Castle with children is Queen Mary's Dolls' House Exhibition and the Changing of the Guard ceremony.
Adventure Play is a unique, hand-crafted adventure playground at Windsor Great Park. Hidden within the woodland next to The Savill Garden, you’ll discover a fascinating world of walkways, slides, sculptures and treehouses.
Visit LEGOLAND® Windsor for an action-packed half term. Newly opened is the Minifigure Speedway; prepare to put pedal to the metal and then slam it in reverse on the world's first LEGO duelling rollercoaster! Or swing by Adventure Golf, the world’s first LEGO® themed indoor golf experience ‘fore’ the whole family!
Discover May half term fun at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts. Keep the family entertained with live shows and familiar characters – there’s plenty to choose from.
Climb on board the 110ft-high Royal Windsor Wheel in Alexandra Gardens and enjoy spectacular views over Windsor & Eton. Bring a picnic; it’s a peaceful spot to relax and refresh. Close by you can also enjoy the Hurricane Hawker replica plane, kiddie corner amusements and mini golf.
Enjoy an hour-long hop on, hop off tour aboard a Golden Tours open top bus, with commentary as you go – to see top sights in Windsor & Eton and stop off at the famous Windsor Farm Shop to browse some goodies to take home with you, before hopping back onboard.
Windsor Duck Tours is a unique and fun experience for all the family which combines river and land tour around Windsor and surrounds with entertaining commentary as you go – book early as places are limited!
Or how about making your own chocolate creations at Dr Choc's Windsor Chocolate Factory, the world's smallest chocolate factory?
Work as a team and crack the clues needed to escape from one of our Windsor escape rooms! We have two to choose from: Escape in 60 Escape Rooms Windsor and Windsor Escape Experience.

There are lots of places to enjoy ice-cream with the family in Windsor – a favourite is Fortescues, close to the Castle in Church Street.
Theatre Royal Windsor, opposite the Castle walls on Thames Street, has a wide variety of shows and productions to suit the family. The Old Court Arts Space, 15 minutes’ walk from town centre, in the pretty neighbourhood shopping area, St Leonards Road, offers a wide range of entertainment and its worth checking their frequently updated programme.
