There’s plenty of fun to be had in Windsor & Maidenhead this May half term. The school holidays are a perfect time to visit and in May and June the days are that much longer and warmer. This year, of course, there’s the added excitement surrounding The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and you’ll find us celebrating in all sorts of ways, all over the Royal Borough!
From street parties and guided tours to jubilee afternoon teas and picnics on Windsor’s famous Long Walk, scroll down to discover a whole host of fun events and activities taking place during the May half term.
So many of our attractions are perfect for a family visit and during half term you’ll find special events taking place to keep everyone entertained: enjoy a Jubilee Jamboree at Windsor Castle; wear a crown on board Tootbus Windsor; take part in an outdoor Ceilidh at Norden Farm, to name but a few!
Come rain or shine there are plenty of things to do. Check out our Family Fun page and discover the best places to go whatever the weather!
Get out and about in the fresh air and enjoy our parks and gardens, bursting with late spring/early summer colour. Discover some beautiful countryside too, including National Trust places to visit and Windsor Great Park.
Too much to fit in one day? We’d love you to stay over. We have plenty of family friendly accommodation including hotels, apartments, cottages and guest houses.
