What is an Escape Room?

An escape room is an immersive game of real-life adventure – a room full of clues to find, puzzles to solve and games to play. Think of the Crystal Maze meets Cluedo. Groups will play a mix of both physical and mental puzzles to escape the room before the time runs out.   Escape rooms require:

-    Communication

-    Thinking out loud
-    And teamwork!

Escape in 60 has three 5-Star TripAdvisor award-winning physical escape rooms and a mobile escape room game.  Our physical rooms can accommodate up to 24 players in one hour, although we recommend between 2 and 6 players per game.  They are perfect for individual teams, corporate hospitality and birthday parties.

We’ll take you on a journey back to Ancient Egypt in THE CURSE OF THE LOST CHAMBER; help you escape Windsor Castle in ESCAPE THE CASTLE; and help you discover the final whereabouts of THE AMBER ROOM, which was lost during the chaotic last months of WW2.

After a full briefing, our Games Master is there to guide you through the game and will send clues into the room if needed.

And, if you want the escape room fun brought to you, at your venue of choice, then we’ll bring ESPIONAGE – our mobile escape room game, which is suitable for 20 to 200 players at the same time!

Booking is essential.  Escape in 60 is open by appointment only.  Please allow 1.5-2 hours for your Escape in 60 experience.

Minimum group size 2, maximum group size 10 depending on room.

Suitable for 2 – 10 players, from ages 7 upwards. Each room has different limits of player numbers as well as age limits.  See our website for details.
