Half Term covered with entertainment every day at Norden Farm

Norden Farm has plenty of entertainment for the family all week long this February half tem.

Cinder-Ella kicks off the week on Monday 16 February at 11.30am and 2pm. Tickets are £8.50, Family (4 people) £31. Suitable for ages 4+ years. The rags to riches tale is turned on its head when a put-upon grandfather is left in charge of a very leaky baby. He decides to tell his favourite fairy story – with lots of props! With puppetry, magic tricks and dolls, there’s plenty of imaginative silliness.

Miss Amelia Buttersnap brings A Real Fairy Story on Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 February at 11.30am and 2pm. Tickets are £8.50, Family (4 people) £31. Suitable for ages 4+ years. Miss Amelia is a fairy expert who has never even seen a fairy! She sets off to Fairyland with her wise cat in tow. Join her on an adventure to find a real life fairy!

Sit down for a delicious bowl of The Magic Porridge Pot and Other Tasty Tales on Thursday 19 and Friday 20 February at 11.30am and 2pm. Tickets are £8.50, Family (4 people) £31. Suitable for ages 3+ years. This three course serving of stories includes a magic pot, a delicious soup made from the scrummiest stone and a Gingerbread Man. All accompanied by puppets, pop-up sets and original music.

As well as performances, there are activities every day for children and families to take part in. There are hour-long morning Arts and Crafts sessions at 10.15am every day, £5 per child. Join Norden Farm’s storytellers at 1.15pm and 3.30pm in the Story Den every day. Part of the venue’s Long Barn will be transformed into an enchanted woodland glade where the audience are invited on a journey in story through characters and voices. Storytelling is £2 per child.

Bring the whole family to a film screening at 11.30am every day. Tinkerbell and the Legend of the Neverbeast is on Monday 16 and Tuesday 17 February. In this enchanting story, the elite Scout Fairies set out to capture a scary addition to Pixie Hollow, but is the Beast as bad as it seems? The classic tale of Paddington gets the big screen treatment on Wednesday 18 – Friday 20 February. It is the classic the story of the bear who arrives in London looking for a family. Hugh Bonneville, Imelda Staunton and Jim Broadbent star in this critically acclaimed adaptation of the books.
