Horse Drawn Tours of The Long Walk from Windsor Castle

Experience the peace and tranquillity of Windsor Great Park on one of our Scheduled Carriage Tours or choose a Bespoke Tour to create your own special trip or occasion. Our tours are much more than a carriage ride. We bring a unique perspective to the Great Park by sharing the knowledge, stories and events passed down through the generations of coachmen. It’s what makes our tours 'A Great Park Experience'.

Enjoy spectacular views of Windsor Castle as you travel down the world famous 'Long Walk', the state entrance to Windsor Castle.  A six-mile journey enjoyed by royalty for centuries and exclusively shared with guests of Windsor Carriages by Crown license since 1849.

During the ride we share in the history of the Great Park and the generations of Windsor carriages and horses. All while you take in the stunning views of Windsor Castle, meet the resident deer and encounter historical monuments, ancient forests and stunning horticultural displays.

A 50-minute return trip with views of the Copper Horse (The statue of King George III), The Royal Mausoleum, Frogmore House and The Royal Dairy. This tour also offers the rare experience of a drive through the Windsor Great Park deer enclosure with its herd of some 500 roaming deer descended from breeding stock from Her Majesty’s Balmoral estate.
