Walking Tours in Windsor provides local tour experiences with passionate, local guides. We offer a 90-minute public tour every day at 11am for £12 per person, as well as private experiences. You can also book a 3-hour guided Windsor Town & Castle visit with us; we’ll book everything for you, just show up and enjoy.
At only £12 per person, it's a very affordable activity too for all. If you're looking for something more exclusive, we also offer a range of private tours around town and have a range of local guides from all walks of life.
In 2024, Walking Tours in Windsor is looking forward to continuing to welcome international guests to show off Windsor's beautiful town. We are looking at a combined Windsor & Eton offering too for those looking to explore both areas. Get in touch for any enquiries: walkingtoursinengland@gmail.com.
Our Windsor Town Tour:
A richly historical town on the River Thames, our Windsor is charming and captivating, whichever way you look! From being the home of the Royals, to our eclectic architecture, there’s something for everyone to discover in our idyllic town.
Join your local guide on a 1.5 hour stroll around the main sights of Windsor, walking in the footsteps of Britain's Kings and Queens, and every day folk too. From William the Conqueror claiming the town after the infamous 1066 battle, to Queen Elizabeth II having her official residence here, our streets are steeped in history and culture.
Discover our incredibly unique history, but also what it's like to live and work in Windsor today.

Please note that the first booking for a particular date always needs to be two people and after that, the system opens for one-person bookings. Please keep an eye on the website the evening before/the morning of the tour to see if you can book for one person after we have a two-person booking.

There are many car parks nearby Windsor Guildhall that are easy to access. Please look up local car parks before your tour.
