Take your partners please! The annual Burns Night Ceilidh returns to Norden Farm Centre for the Arts on Friday 16 January at 8pm. Tickets are £16.50.
Join the Craigievar Ceilidh Band in our Courtyard Theatre for a sociable evening of music and dancing. The seats have been taken out of the auditorium – meaning there’s plenty of room for dancing! Guaranteed to have you stamping, reeling and birling. Their on-the-floor caller will guide you through dances including the Dashing White Sergeant, Strip the Willow and more.
The Craigievar Scottish Dance Band are a ceilidh dance and reels band. The band formed in the 1980s and is run by Stuart and Alistair Forbes, originally from Buckie in North-East Scotland. The musicians have even appeared in the acclaimed film Four Weddings and a Funeral.
They have also played The Black Watch Summer Ball, Old Berks Hunt Ball, Ceilidh at Windsor Castle, The Rock and Reel Ball at the Dorchester Hotel and St Andrew’s Balls in Venezuela, Oman and Burns Nights in Thessaloniki. Craigievar Band perform at ceilidhs, reeling parties, weddings and country dances all around the South of England.
This lively, fun event is not to be missed!
