Musical Director and cabaret producer James Church hosts an evening with Broadway star Kim Criswell. Specialising in the classic American songbook, Kim has sung and recorded with many of the world’s greatest symphony orchestras, including four appearances at the BBC Proms with Sir Simon Rattle and John Wilson.

Her theatre career has taken her from Broadway (3 Penny Opera opposite Sting) and LA (Grizabella in Cats) to the West End (Annie Oakley in Annie Get Your Gun) and Paris (Mother Abbess in The Sound of Music).

She continues to specialise in musical theatre, bringing the classic American songbook to leading music venues across the world. Kim has had the pleasure of singing with many of the world’s greatest symphony orchestras, from the Berlin Philharmonic to the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestras

She has also performed at Buckingham Palace, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus in Athens and Ravello’s cliffside concert platform. Her critically acclaimed Annie Oakley in Annie Get Your Gun earned her an Olivier Award nomination for Best Actress in a Musical. Kim also won a Helen Hays award for her work in Sondheim’s Side by Side. Kim has also recorded more than forty albums including four solo albums.
