Unique folk duo perform live
A special one-off expanded band tour for a critically acclaimed folk duo. Hannah Sanders and Ben Savage are at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts on Tuesday 29 October at 7.30pm. Tickets are £16.
Following the success of their 2022 release Ink Of The Rosy Morning. Hannah Sanders and Ben Savage spent much of 2023 touring with the legendary Fairport Convention.
Their new album is In The Dark We Grow. Hannah and Ben hit the road for the first time with a band of their own. They are already well known for their moving live performances and this unique musical collaboration promises to be balm for weariest ears.
Since emerging in 2016, Hannah and Ben have been defying all conventions of style, genre and compartmentalisation. A touch of Americana, yet quintessentially English. Traditional, yet contemporary with their individual writing style. Playful and instinctive, they make music with such panache and natural chemistry it makes perfect sense.
Hannah Sanders has an alluring mystique and a voice of disarming purity that massages your senses with gentle ease. Ask her nicely and she will discuss witchcraft, tarot cards and her adventures in a family band busking through Europe in an old school bus.
Ben Savage is a bubbling ferment of energy, all fluffy hair, unkempt charm and infectious enthusiasm. He will seemingly play any instrument your care to put in front of him with grace and favour. He is a singular guitarist with a sound as distinctive as it is innovative.
Together their harmonies and unique stage presence shimmer with an infectious passion and joy for the connection music offers.
