A brand new show from award-winning comedian and star of BBC2’s Live at the Apollo and Channel 4’s 8 Out of 10 Cats comes to Maidenhead this October. Helen Bauer: Bless Her is at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts on Thursday 9 October at 8pm. Tickets are £19.
Helen is back and is struggling. She has spent the last year being forced to hang out with someone she doesn’t like and who honestly does not like her. It’s tense, it’s uncomfortable, they won’t leave.
Known for being a comedy powerhouse with an electric stage presence, Helen is one of the UK’s most exciting rising stand up stars. She lived in London until she was 23, making sketches, waitressing and drinking. She then moved to Berlin to do the same there and discovered stand up.
In August 2019, Helen’s debut show at the Edinburgh Festival was nominated for the Best Newcomer Award. Since then, Helen has written and toured two more critically acclaimed shows. Going on to win Best New Show at this year’s Leicester Comedy Festival.
Helen has appeared on comedy shows such as BBC’s Stand Up for Live Comedy, ITV’s The Stand Up Sketch Show, BBC1's Am I Being Unreasonable and Extraordinary on Disney+. Helen co-hosts the extremely popular and award-winning podcast Trusty Hogs with fellow comedian Catherine Bohart.
