This August, Waterside Quarter is excited to host the return of Live and Local: Summer Sounds, in partnership with Maidenhead Festival. Following the success of last year's debut event, the festival is back with an expanded programme, larger performance space and even more entertainment for visitors to enjoy.
Spend a relaxing afternoon by the water enjoying free live music, delicious refreshments and family-friendly activities in the centre of Maidenhead. To accommodate the growing event, the road outside Waterside Quarter will be closed, creating room for a bigger stage, enhanced audience areas and additional attractions throughout the day.
Taking place against the scenic setting of Waterside Quarter, this special event showcases an array of talented local performers. Sit back and enjoy a programme of acoustic music featuring a variety of artists, each bringing their own unique sound to the stage.
Whether you enjoy soulful vocals, acoustic favourites or skilled instrumental performances, there will be something to suit every musical taste while celebrating the vibrant local music scene.
As the music plays, unwind with a drink from the outdoor bar and enjoy the lively summer atmosphere. Visitors can also treat themselves to a sweet indulgence from the Cocoba Café ice cream stand, while younger guests can get creative at the free craft station.
Whether you're meeting friends, spending time with family or simply looking for a relaxing way to enjoy a summer afternoon, Live and Local: Summer Sounds offers the perfect riverside experience.
