Norden Farm’s most popular attraction is back for summer 2026 - The Maidenhead Beach at Norden Farm returns from Thursday 23 July until Saturday 5 September (excluding Tuesday 18 – Wednesday 26 August). Free entry.
The train is pulling into the station at Norden-by-Sea. All aboard the Norden Express this summer at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts as a vintage inspired beach sets the scene for the timeless joy of playing on the sand at the great British seaside.
The Café Bar is open each day for drinks, lunch, dinner and snacks beachside. Daytime activities across the holidays include family shows, Relaxed cinema screenings, summer activity camps, Kite Making and Beach Craft sessions. There are also free activities to keep all ages entertained including a Treasure Hunt, colouring, children's books and games. You can also enjoy the dressing up box and snap a selfie!
Camp Out! is a free sensory chill out space to explore in the Gallery - offering a calm environment throughout the school holidays.
Beach Crafts are a fun way to get creative. Crafts include Ice Cream Magnets and Bookmarks, Sea Life Hanging Mobile and Seashell Turtles. Tickets are £6 per participant.
Create your own kite at a Kite Making Workshop ahead of this year’s Kite Festival on Sunday 30 August – taking place at Boyn Grove Park between 12pm – 4pm and free to attend. Workshops are on Saturday 25 July, Saturday 8 August and Saturday 29 August. With a drop in session at the Night Market on Saturday 1 August from 6pm. Led by Community Kite Project – create your very own kite, then see it take to the sky!
Norden Farm’s creative summer camps are the perfect opportunity for youngsters try something new. Circus Camp from Tuesday 28 July – Friday 31 July is led by And Circus. It’s the chance to enjoy four days of learning incredible circus skills.
Art Camp is an art adventure led by artist Lucy Carpenter from Tuesday 4 August - Friday 7 August. And make a play in 4 days at Theatre Camp, led by Sideways Drama from Tuesday 11 August - Friday 14 August.
Relaxed school holiday family film screenings Toy Story 5 (PG), Minions & Monsters (U), The Sheep Detectives (PG) and Charlie the Wonderdog (PG).
Family shows include Concertini with the Brass Funkeys – bringing their trademark high-energy brass spectacular on Saturday 25 July at 11.30am. The perfect live music experience for all ages - performing everything from reggae to pumping brass-driven funk. All in a relaxed atmosphere where nobody minds if the kids wriggle!
Watch out for the dance of the goats, the flying troll and loads and loads of rubbish! The Three Billy Goats Gruff is the simple story of three hungry goats and a grumpy old troll on Wednesday 29 and Thursday 30 July at 11.30am and 2pm. With puppets, live music, storytelling and singing.
Rapunzel is on Wednesday 5 and Thursday 6 August at 11.30am and 2pm. A bold and funny adaptation of the much-loved storybook. Brought to the stage in a brand new theatrical adventure brimming full of music, magic and madcap schemes – and not a prince in sight!
For the adults, there are free Summer Beach Gigs in the evening. The line up includes jazz pianist Alex Hutton performing at the Norden Farm Night Market on Saturday 1 August and singer and guitarist Helen Poole with crowd favourite covers, along with a few original songs on Thursday 6 August.
Fifi la Mer and Oliver Wilby on Friday 7 August, with a selection of French music including works from Edith Piaf, Charles Trennet, Django Reinhardt and Serge Gainsbourg. Plus, Kirsty Trice and Ryan Quartermaine bring an evening of acoustic Rock n Roll and country classics on Thursday 14 August.
