Maidenhead Sailing Club is holding its Annual Open Day on Bank Holiday Monday 4th May 2026 between 12.00-16.00 at Maidenhead Sailing Club, Summerleaze Road, SL6 8HZ.
This is a free event and non-members can try out lots of exciting activities on the water, such as sailing, with an experienced club member, paddleboarding, or kayaking. There are different boats available for all ages from the very young to the young at heart (provided we can fit you with a suitable sized lifejacket). Changing facilities are available and we do advise bringing a change of clothes with you.
The Bar will be open, there will be a BBQ and other refreshments to purchase, or just bring a picnic and watch the beautiful lake.
The club is friendly and welcoming – with relaxed social sailing every Saturday from April until September and paddlesports on the lake. There is racing is every Sunday throughout the year and the very active youth and junior section (8 years and over) runs all year. Members have the choice of over forty club boats and over ten paddleboards and kayaks to rent.
