A sparkly and magical story is coming to the stage

A story about friendship and the true magic of nature. Out Of The Hat is at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts on Tuesday 28 May and Wednesday 29 May at 11.30am and 2pm. Tickets are £12 | £10 under 16s | Family and Friends (4 people) £40. Suitable for ages 2 – 8 years.

When Doris and Delilah wake up to find something strange and sparkly has fallen from the sky, they are inspired to put on the world’s greatest magic show! But how do you make real magic happen? What ingredients do you need and who can help them?

Along the way they encounter some fabulous characters; a transformative moth, a band of musical frogs, an artistic spider and a sassy glow-worm who all help to create their dream.

Will the conjuring trick work and will anything ever come out of the hat?

Presented by Long Nose Puppets who launched in 2006. They have produced four much loved and critically acclaimed puppet shows for children. Co-founded by Katherine Morton and Polly Dunbar, who studied illustration at Brighton University where they often worked together on creating characters and stories. Polly is the daughter of Joyce Dunbar who wrote Shoe Baby and Pat A Cake Baby.

Katherine and Polly make the puppets out of anything and everything, such as latex, wood, furniture, socks, old umbrellas and the odd lampshade.

Out of the Hat is a story about friendship and the true magic of nature. Filled with lively songs by the talented Tom Gray of Gomez. Tom also co-composed the music for the Cbeebies series based on Polly’s books Tilly and Friends.

A feast for the senses and a spectacular theatre experience for everyone!
