American stand-up comedian Russell Hicks is back on tour with his new show This Time It’s Personal – coming to Norden Farm Centre for the Arts on Thursday 19 March at 8pm. Tickets are £20.50.
Russell Hicks lives in the UK and he is one of the UK’s most razor-sharp and exciting comic talents. He is a provocative and exuberant comedian with a rockstar edge.
Russell has appeared in multiple films including Edgar Wright’s The Running Man (2025). You also may have seen his phenomenally successful Dear Diary series on Instagram, which has gained millions of views. Last year’s show was about his life in the UK. This year is about…him. He’s back. And this time…it’s personal.
Russell has entertained studio audiences at Have I Got News For You and been a support act for the likes of Al Murray and Britain’s Got Talent winner Axel Blake. He has performed up and down this country, picking up three Leicester Festival nominations along the way. He’s even been officially declared a Global Talent by Arts Council England.
Known for his improvised performances, Russell has amassed millions of views online. He has gained a devoted following of fans who’ve come to know that no two shows will be the same. He is considered one of the best improvisers in the country and has appeared on some of the UK’s biggest networks.
Russell has starred in several episodes of ITV’s Stand Up Sketch Show. He won the Channel 4 competition series Captive Audience with his fully improvised comedy. He also starred in Prime Video series Lovestruck High narrated by Lindsay Lohan and is two time Leicester Festival Best Show Nominee and Winner of the 2024 Prague Fringe Festival.
