Salsa, Samba and Tango rhythms have always been a source of inspiration for jazz musicians. Norden Farm Jazz Club presents Steve Waterman’s Latin Quartet at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts on Friday 19 April at 8pm. Tickets are £16.
Steve Waterman’s passion and knowledge of these art forms will take us on a journey through Latin America. An evening of rhythm and colour!
The concert will feature music from Cuba, Brazil and Argentina with pieces from composers Paquito D’Rivera, Astor Piazzolla, Antonio Carlos Jobin as well as Latin influenced pieces by jazz composers Horace Silver and Steve Swallow and many others.
