Carve a pumpkin lantern, learn about local myths and legends in a storytelling session by the campfire, and finally spot your pumpkin on a spooky walk through the nature reserve's Wild Wood.
Storytelling Session - Step into the woods with Alice in Natureland for an immersive and interactive storytelling experience perfect for families. Discover the spooky and surprising world of fungi as we follow the hidden trails of the amazing mycelium network beneath the forest floor. Through storytelling, imagination and audience participation, children and grown-ups alike will uncover how these "fung-tastical" underground connections create the woodland's very own wood-wide web and play a magical role in nature. Expect plenty of Halloween-themed fun, fascinating facts and spooky woodland wonder along the way!
Bring a pumpkin, tools to carve (spoon and knife), with a torch to carry and a small torch or bike light to illuminate your pumpkin.
Best for children 4-11 years old. Children must be accompanied by an adult - tickets for adults not needed.
