Taplow House Hotel & Spa is a charming, traditional and stunning Georgian country house hotel situated just 7 miles from Royal Windsor.

Surrounded by six acres of beautiful grounds, Taplow House’s setting is quintessentially English. Located just over the border in Buckinghamshire, it’s a perfect, peaceful location from which to enjoy the wonderful attractions in the local area such as Windsor Castle, the River Thames and the National Trust’s Gardens at Cliveden.

Having recently undergone a £2.2 million refurbishment, the boutique property now boasts a luxurious spa, which has 6 treatment rooms, a nail bar, hydrotherapy pool and sauna.

As a privately-owned boutique country house hotel, the 4-star Taplow House offers its guests a home-from-home experience with a high standard of personalized service.

All of the 30 individually-designed bedrooms and suites are beautifully appointed with luxury Egyptian sheets and plush soft furnishings, creating the perfect haven to ensure a restful night’s sleep.

The hotel’s terrace and garden are the ideal place for guests to enjoy afternoon tea or to dine al fresco.

Road Directions

From the M4 Leave at junction 7 sign posted Slough West & Maidenhead. Turn left onto A4 towards Maidenhead. Continue towards Maidenhead (ignore signs for Taplow) and at the third set of traffic lights turn right onto Berry Hill (BMW & Mini garages are located on either side of the road). Follow the road for 150 yards and Taplow House is on the right hand side. From the M40 Leave at junction 2 sign posted Slough & Beaconsfield. Take the Slough exit and move into the right hand lane, after 100 yards take the junction to the right to Burnham. Follow this country road and after two miles take the right turn to Taplow & Wooburn. After 200 yards turn left into Heathfield Road. Follow the road for approximately 3 miles, passing the gates of Cliveden National Trust House and the Feathers Inn pub and Taplow House is on the left.
