Enjoy the best of both worlds:
Some chefs learn recipes. Others learn cultures. Chef Nand belongs firmly to the latter category.
His story is not simply one of kitchens and cookbooks, but of continents, conversations, and a lifelong pursuit of understanding people through food. From the bustling kitchens of India's luxury hotels to the vast oceans aboard international cruise liners, Chef Nand has spent more than two decades collecting flavours, techniques, and stories that now shape his unique culinary identity.
What makes Chef Nand different is that he has never viewed food as merely something to be served. For him, every dish carries a memory, every spice tells a story, and every meal is an opportunity to create an experience. This philosophy has taken him around the world, exposing him to cuisines as diverse as Mediterranean, French, Italian, South American, and Asian cooking traditions.
His career has included working in some of the most demanding culinary environments imaginable. Whether preparing meals for thousands of guests aboard international cruise ships or operating within the precision-driven standards associated with renowned chefs, Chef Nand developed a reputation for consistency, creativity, and attention to detail.
Yet despite his global experience, he has remained deeply connected to his roots. His menus often combine authentic Indian flavours with contemporary presentation and international influences. The result is a style of cooking that feels familiar and exciting at the same time—traditional enough to respect heritage, yet innovative enough to surprise modern diners.
Over the years, his expertise has attracted an impressive client list. From catering for the Hinduja family to serving production teams behind some of Britain's best-known television programmes, including Strictly Come Dancing and EastEnders, Chef Nand has become a trusted name for high-profile events. His appearance at the prestigious Chelsea Flower Show further demonstrated his ability to introduce Indian cuisine to wider audiences in fresh and engaging ways.
Recognition has followed naturally. His contributions to hospitality and business have earned industry awards and accolades, while his commitment to quality has helped establish a strong reputation across Berkshire, London, and beyond. However, awards are not what define his success.
What truly distinguishes Chef Nand is his belief that food brings people together. Whether catering an intimate family celebration, a corporate event, a wedding, or a community gathering, his focus remains the same: creating memorable moments through exceptional food and genuine hospitality.
Today, through his catering ventures and consultancy work, Chef Nand continues to share the knowledge gained from a remarkable international journey. His food reflects not only the places he has worked, but also the people he has met along the way.
In a world where many chefs strive to impress, Chef Nand strives to connect. That difference can be tasted in every dish he creates.
