Less than 100 days to go to Christmas and the elves of LaplandUK are back at their snowy forest home on the WINDSOR ESTATE

Tuesday 23 September:  With less than 100 days to go to Christmas, tickets for LaplandUK, Europe’s leading children’s Christmas event, are on general sale from 10am tomorrow (Wednesday 24 September).  LaplandUK, the much-loved, bespoke theatrical experience for young children, opens on Saturday 29 November and closes on Christmas Eve.  Tickets can be purchased at:

LaplandUK is a family business founded 8 years ago in Kent, by Alison Battle, a former primary school teacher, and her husband Mike. LaplandUK’s unique and innovative adaption of the Father Christmas myth has earned the company an enviable reputation for reframing the Father Christmas experience in the UK through the Battle’s integrity and commitment to celebrating and respecting the wonderment of a child’s innocent and fleeting belief in Father Christmas – Christmas magic.

Alison Battle: "Following the success of our first season in Berkshire last year, LaplandUK is thrilled to be returning to Ascot this winter. With planning restrictions now lifted on mid day tours due to negligible impact on local traffic flow , we look forward to welcoming more children to Father's Christmas snowy UK homeland this Christmas"

Children and their families can expect an enchanting tailor-made visit, starting with a personalised invitation from Father Christmas asking for their help in the elves Toy Factory this Christmas. LaplandUK promises a unique and unforgettable Christmas adventure for all young children and their families, transporting them to Father Christmas’ mythical arctic home. Having travelled along the Elves’ magical forest pathways with their LaplandUK passports freshly stamped, visitors arrive in the snowy wonderland where first they visit the Toy Factory to help the Elves before moving on to Mother Christmas’ Kitchen to decorate gingerbread and gather for traditional storytelling. Then it’s skates on for LaplandUK’s Ice Rink and a chance to spend Elf Jingles (LaplandUK currency) in the Elves Village before meeting LaplandUK’s resident huskies and reindeer. The highlight of this 3.5 hour immersive theatrical experience is the family’s personalised (he knows all about you), meeting with Father Christmas in his charming woodland home. All children receive a newly designed collectable luxury husky soft toy from Father Christmas to ensure this treasured day will be remembered forever.

LaplandUK is a temporary theatrical event staged in Whitmoor Forest, a commercial pine forest owned by the Crown Estate, on the Windsor Estate. LaplandUK’s theatrical company consists of critically acclaimed stage managers, set designers, production assistants, and actors, collaborating to achieve this phenomenal Christmas experience.
